The food here was very good. Menu had a lot of items from Central and southern Mexico instead of just Tex Mex. There was also TexMex. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, but seemed more confident interacting in Spanish rather than English. It could be helpful to speak Spanish for chit-chat, but not necessary to eat there. The menu was in English. I will eat here again.

This is an awesome place! Everything is freshly made and service is quick! Love all the different kinds of hot sauces and salsas! Bring cash!

Expected better after the Washington Post ranked its tacos #2 in the entire region.

My whole family loves this. It’s not the best organized but the food takes the cake. There’s a juke box with a lot of songs which is really fun while you wait for the amazing food. I recommend the Carne asada.

We had high hopes for this place. We came away a bit disappointed. We ordered one taco, with pork pastor, one gordito, with pork, one ceviche tostado, and one carnitas platter, which came with rice, beans, and guacamole. The gordito was quite nice, crunchy, and messy in a nice way! With the sauces and lettuce shred, it was moist and the pork was well seasoned. The ceviche was nice, not overly hot, it did not blow the top of my head off. I appreciated that it was not too hot, because I could taste the shrimp. Quite nice, the crunchy tostada was fun to use to scoop up the seafood. The carnitas was very fatty, as in a whole lot of fat, way too much. There were a few crunchy pieces, but were totally overwhelmed by the fat and pork skins. The guacamole was rather plain with overly stringy avocado, some salt and lemon might be nice. The beans were good, nice flavor, I really liked them. Unfortunately the rice was severely overcooked and the addition of mixed vegetables did nothing to make it better. Quite a gummy mess. The taco was ok, it was lacking in taste and needed some zip to help it out. The tortillas were tasty but a bit heavy. We will try this place again to be fair. We always try new places twice, to give them a fair chance.
